I'm noticing a reoccurring theme in my life, I relate to all those disgruntled workers that you see in movies, tv shows, and songs... Case and point-Ron Livingston and Jennifer Aniston's characters in office space. The only reason I can relate to Aniston's is because she gets in trouble for not wearing enough pieces of flair. At my current job, I too, have to wear "flair". However, my flair is pins and I get to trade with guests. If you know people who are into pins, they are overzealous to say the least. That song "Taking Care of Business", just makes my day. I totally relate. Jim's role in the t.v show "the Office", Yeah, I get where he is coming from. I can't see myself getting into fights with co-workers over stupid things at my $7.45 an hour job
Had yet another day of training. I think I know how to work a cash register. One of the saving graces of this job is the people I get to talk to. They're so interesting and come from all over the world and they come from different situations. I just love talking to people, I really do.
Today though was a reletively slow day except for it's my Pop's birthday. He's been/is the best Dad. Now, I'm going to go celebrate with the family.
